Estimated October sales in the U.S.

Xbox 360 would be the best selling console of the month.

In just a few days, the U.S. audit, NPD Group, will make official sales figures for October in the United States, both hardware and software.

The analyst firm, Wedbush Securities, have published their own estimates on sales that would have occurred in the U.S. during the month of October, with Xbox 360 again as the best selling console with 350,000 units.

Second place with 265,000 PlayStation 3 consoles in third place with 250,000 Nintendo 3DS, then with 180,000 Wii Nintendo DS and finally with 140,000 units.

In regard to expect software sales in the U.S. market increased 14%, with good sales strong candidates such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, Saint's Row: The Third , The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Need for Speed: The Run and Forza 4.

In fact consider the line launches this Christmas as "one of the strongest in history."
