Blizzard could have fired the chief designer of Titan

John Staats has been in the company more than 10 years.

Massively reports that the veteran John Staats, one of the most renowned designers Blizzard could have left the company and development of Titan, apparently due to a layoff.

Staats has been with Blizzard for more than 10 years and has been considered by players of World of Warcraft as one of the best designers in the MMORPG genre.

Prior to the alleged dismissal, Staats was the principal designer of the new Blizzard project called Titan, a MMORPG in the sense that WoW but being an entirely new intellectual property.
